This is a harsh season. The cold weather, constant cold and cough, some are down with malaria. But we've got work to do. I can't even think of getting sick this season. So, if you are like me, let's boost our immune system against whatever that may come.
In as much as these tips would help you to build your immune system, nothing else beats a proper rest.
So, please rest! Let's dive into it.
•CITRUS FRUITS
This can never be overemphasized. You know that you need to take fruits. But you just want to ignore it. Aunty, you're gworung old oh. Please be intentional about taking good care of YOU because no one would come through for you when you need YOU except YOU.
Be strategic in your intake of fruits. Majorly, Citrus: Orange, tangerine, Lemon. Whenever you see those mallam passing by, take two. It won't harm you.

•GARLIC AND GINGER
Most young people detest this because of the smell. However, we've got no choice but to befriend them. You can brush before and after using it, infact you can wash them over and over. Use mouth deodorant sef but ensure you take these two.
Research has shown that they have immune boosting properties and they tend to Reduce illness(sore throats), nausea, improves digestion.
So, boil water with your ginger inside and drink, take in the smell. Also, blend your ginger and garlic. Add to your tea, water and drink. Your choice.
•NUTS (PEANUT, HAZELNUT)
Almonds, peanuts and hazelnuts contain vitamin E, which helps increase T-cell count (T-cells directly kill infected host cells and regulate immune responses).
